Guests may rent a bicycle at Palmetto Dunes Outfitters to explore the island or try beach cycling along the beach. A special passageway for bicyclists and pedestrians allows safe passage to Shelter Cove Harbour and Marina without having to cross Hwy. 278.

Traffic is light, motorists are bike-friendly and the semi-tropical climate makes taking a bike ride a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
