Summer Evenings from June through August at Shelter Cove Harbour

HarbourFest has earned the distinction of being Shelter Cove Harbour's signature summer event. From June through August, Shelter Cove features live entertainment seven nights a week, plus unforgettable food, arts and crafts from an array of vendors, bouncy houses, fireworks and a flurry of fun activity. There is no admission charge for HarbourFest!

Family friendly entertainer, Shannon Tanner, has been a fixture at HarbourFest since 1988. Shannon's light-hearted performances include sing-a-longs, pop music, classic tunes, and his own original ballads. An audience favorite, Shannon returns to Shelter Cove to kick off his 23rd anniversary season on Hilton Head Island, much to the delight of his loyal fans who return year after year and to island residents. So brush up on your silly dance moves and watch Shannon perform a guaranteed fun-filled show that your family will be talking about for years to come! Don't forget to look for Shannon's trademark beanie! Shannon is now playing two one-hour shows each night at 6:30 and 8:00 pm, Monday through Friday, until September 5th for the HarbourFest celebration!

This year, Cappy the Clown will be at Shelter Cove Harbour through September to delight audiences with fun entertainment and a little clown magic! Cappy will be over at Shelter Cove Sunday - Friday from 6:00-9:00 pm. Don't miss Cappy's special activities on Sunday evenings at the Harbour! "Shelter Cove's Got Talent" will be all Sunday evening long; at 6:00 pm Cappy will put on the "Just Add Kids" instant circus show with free clown classes, the "Shining Stars of Shelter Cove" talent show will go on after and Cappy will wrap up the night by hosting the "Shake It" DJ Dance Party.

Fireworks serve as the centerpiece for HarbourFest. This year, Firework shows will be held on the following dates at dusk:
Tuesdays, June 14, 21 & 28
Monday, July 4 (expanded show) (no show Tuesday, July 5th)
Tuesdays, July 12, 19 & 26
Tuesday, August 2 & 9

This breathtaking display lights up the sky on Tuesday nights. Don't miss the special Fourth of July fireworks show, which offers a vibrant extravaganza of light over the harbor. To view the show from a unique perspective, Outside Hilton Head offers special "Fireworks Paddle" guided kayak tours during the summer.

Wonderful Wacky Wizzle Cruise
You'll see dolphins, Shannon does music and magic show, kids drive the boat, and we'll conclude with a treasure hunt in the harbour! Parents and kids meet at Shelter Cove on Dock C in front of San Miguels Restaurant at the Boat called "HOLIDAY" at 8:30am. Departure is at 9am and we will return at 11am.

Shannon Tanner's Most Excellent Pirate Expedition
Grab a pirate tattoo, sword, and eyepatch and become a pirate in Shannon Tanner's Band of Pirates! First come, first serve basis or pre-buy tickets at Shannon Tanner's Show. Meet Captain Tanner on his stage at 8:30am for Pirate Kidz initiation (Kidz get there Pirate Dress-Up) 9am departure and will return at 10:30am.
Kids/$24, Adults/$30
Available starting Wednesday, May 25 and Friday, May 28. Every Wednesday and Friday morning thereafter until September 2.

Dolphin Boat Cruise- Fireworks Cruise
Book this boat cruise early, it is extremely popular! You'll enjoy our regular 2-hour dolphin cruise, but it also includes an additional half-hour for your family to enjoy the spectacular display of Shelter Cove's fireworks - in comfort - with 'the best seat on the island', and without the hassle of crowds!
Prices range from $40 to $50

Kayaking- Fireworks Paddle
Every Tuesday during the summer we have a special tour that departs early evening from Shelter Cove Marina. You will enjoy our fun and informative 2-hour Guided Kayak Nature Tour. Then everybody will park in the marsh with the best seats in the house for the Shelter Cove Harborfest fireworks!
Adults are $25, and Children 12 and younger are $20.

I commented to my wife and kids (now 22 and 26) that it is incredible to me that you must have done 1,500-2,000 shows over the years and each show seems like the first one you have ever done.
