About Our Ladies Golf Programs

Lindsey Letzig from Richmond, Mo., serves as Palmetto Dunes Golf Academy's LPGA Instructor and leads the Ladies Only and Junior Girls' programs. As a full-time student at the David Leadbetter Academy, she became a star performer for the Coastal Carolina University Golf Team. While her approach is gentle for novices, she can answer any question posed by a golfer who aspires to play at an advanced level.

Golf runs in Lindsey's family. Her brother, Michael Letzig, is on the PGA Tour. Since assuming her post as the LPGA Instructor at Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort, Lindsey has worked with many satisfied students at all skill levels.

Ladies Only I

When: Wednesdays and Saturdays, 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Where: Arthur Hills Course
Cost: $99 per person, including $10 lunch voucher

Description: This fun, low-stress learning program starts with a supervised warm up. The instructor works with each golfer, providing training on all the basic shots and offering the support each student needs to learn the mechanics. The group then moves to 90 minutes of supervised play on the course where each player learns game management strategies to fit her game. Instructors are patient, gracious and capable of teaching each student how to enjoy the game of golf.

Description: This class is for women who have attended Ladies Only I, Back to Basics, Shortgame I, or has had a private lesson with a member of our staff. Students study and apply advanced techniques in putting, chipping, sand and full swing. They will learn and practice proper stretching techniques. They also will learn how to concentrate more intensely and for longer periods of time. They will practice on several holes as they learn course-management strategies. Women of all skill levels will benefit from Lindsey's superior playing and teaching abilities.
