Santa Comes Friday, November 29th to Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina
Thanksgiving is just the start of the holiday season at Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort and Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina.
On Friday, November 29th, Santa Claus will arrive at Shelter Cove Harbour — via a firetruck — at 12 noon and stay until 2:30 p.m. for children to share their Christmas wish list and snap a pic with Old Saint Nick at the iconic Neptune Statue.
There will be a variety of holiday activities for both children and adults. Parents and kids can ride the train around Shelter Cove Marina, enjoy the bounce house, and join in other arts and crafts. Adults can stroll through the area’s many unique stores and boutiques while enjoying holiday music.
In addition, the first 200 kids get to decorate a gingerbread cookie; starting at 11 a.m. Cookies are provided by the Hilton Head Social Bakery.
By the end of November, visitors can stroll the 4th annual “Light up the Harbour” display of holiday lights decorating private and commercial boats docked in the marina each evening. The display runs through January 1, 2019.
