Free shuttle service provided from HHI Community Church/Sparklight parking lots on William Hilton Parkway for Hilton Head Island’s Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina July 4th celebration including music, family fun and the island’s biggest fireworks show. 

Important information regarding shuttle service for the 4th of July HarbourFest Fireworks show.

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (June 2026) — Hilton Head Island’s largest and most spectacular July 4th fireworks celebration returns to Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina, reimagined with special patriotic flair in honor of America’s 250th Anniversary. 

To ensure a safe and smooth entry and exit from the event for the July 4th celebration, Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina offers a free shuttle from the parking lot behind HHI Community Church/Sparklight buildings at 860 William Hilton Pkwy for attendees to be shuttled to the HarbourFest events from 5:30-10:30 pm. Parking is free at this lot, with multiple shuttles running continuously from 5:30 pm until 10:30 pm. The shuttle map is attached to this press release. 

ATTENTION! For your safety, anyone walking or biking from Palmetto Dunes on July 4th over to Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina must utilize the pedestrian underpass that passes underneath Hwy 278. The bridge is located near the entrance to Palmetto Dunes (on the right side of the road if you are exiting) and is connected to the bike path.

American flags and paddle fans will be distributed at Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina while supplies last.

Fireworks will light up the night sky over Broad Creek after the sky turns dark on Saturday, July 4th. In addition that evening, beloved entertainer and musician Shannon Tanner will perform his special patriotic family show at 6:30 & 8 p.m.

Other family entertainment will be provided by Cappy the Clown from 6:00-9:00 pm, with face painting, balloon animals, sand art, glitter tattoos and a variety of interactive games and activities. Also, bounce houses and train rides around the marina promenade will be available at an additional cost.

The July 4th and all other HarbourFest fireworks shows are produced by Falcon Fireworks, a 25-year-old pyrotechnics company based near Savannah, Ga. Falcon Fireworks has produced many pyrotechnic shows up and down the East Coast — including more than 40 shows on July 4th alone. They have made the HarbourFest fireworks more visible by incorporating a variety of unique firing techniques with an increased quality and quantity of shells. 

The July 4th HarbourFest celebration is free and open to the public. Food and drinks are available for purchase at select vendors and restaurants. No coolers please.  Events are weather permitting and subject to change.
