Palmetto Dunes Charity Golf Tournament

Save the Date for the third annual charity golf tournament on Thursday, December 4th with an 11 a.m. shotgun at the Robert Trent Jones benefitting Palmetto Dunes Cares and the Palmetto Dunes Resort’s Employee Assistance Fund.

Registration is $150 per player or $600 per team of 4 players. Includes lunch, and along the course, there will be "closest to the pin" challenges, a hole-in-one-challenge, as well as a prize for the winning team.

Doug Weaver Named One of Golf Digest’s Best Teachers in South Carolina

We’re proud to share that Palmetto Dunes Director of Golf Instruction, Doug Weaver, has been honored in Golf Digest’s Best Teachers in Every State 2026–27. A former PGA Tour pro and U.S. Open record holder, Doug leads our award-winning Golf Academy, inspiring players of every skill level.

Golf Academy Instructor Spotlight: George Spinella

George Spinella graduated from Siena College in 2003 and the San Diego Golf Academy in 2005. He is the 1st Assistant at the George Fazio Course and has been teaching with Palmetto Dunes since 2006. George enjoys teaching players of all ages and skill levels.
