Celebrate the Fourth of July at Palmetto Dunes & Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina

The Fourth of July is the holiday of the summer, and we can’t think of a better place to spend it than at Palmetto Dunes Resort and Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina. Join us for Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina's post-pandemic July 4th celebration including music, family fun and the island’s biggest fireworks show.

Live Entertainment at The Dunes House

Start the holiday weekend off on the right foot overlooking the Atlantic Ocean! Live Music at the Dunes House every Monday - Friday from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., weather permitting.

Tuesday: La Bodega
Wednesday: A Welcome Distraction
Thursday: Jos Vicars & Friends
Friday: Unicorn Meat

5K Turtle Trot and Turtle Talks continue

These family‐friendly run/walk events consists of two courses: 1) a beach course for weeks with a low tide – and, 2) a road course for weeks with a high tide. Both routes feature some of the best Palmetto Dunes has to offer by leading participants over our sand, under our tree canopy, and along our lagoon and lakes. Registration is online. Turtle Talk is a fun educational program on sea turtles and preservation. Talks are $20 per person.
