Your villa will be cleaned before you arrive and on departure. We can provide additional housekeeping such as a mid-stay clean or towel exchange at an additional fee.
A standard supply of towels and bed linens consisting of two bath towels, one hand towel and one wash cloth per person (not to exceed maximum occupancy) will be ready for you in your vacation rental the bed lined supply consist of the linens that are on the bed. If your unit has a sleeper sofa, linens will be provided for the bed. Additional linens can be provided for an additional fee.
All vacation rentals have a washer and dryer within the unit for your use and convenience.
There are swimming pools located at all complexes. You may only use the pool located in the complex in which your villa/home resides. Select pools are heated seasonally. We do have pools and spas/hot-tubs located at select homes. Select pools at homes may be heated only during certain months of the year. Please call one of our reservationists at (888) 909-9566 to ask about specific pool heating. The cost to heat a pool is 650 for 1 Week. The cost to heat a spa is $350 for 1 Week.
The pool heaters at our homes are heat pumps. Heat pumps use the warm air outside to heat the pool, which is why it is best used during warmer months.
Resort Fee– Includes damage waiver that provides you with coverage up to $1,000 in accidental or reported damage that occurs during your stay, 24 hour security, car passes, seasonal resort transportation and processing fees. This is a nonrefundable fee.
Vacation Assurance- This optional fee protects you due to an unforeseen natural disaster whether in your location or on Hilton Head you are not able to check-in to your villa on you arrival day, you may move your reservation to another time within 12 months from the original arrival date.
We typically are not able to accommodate an early check-in due to allowing time for cleaning and inspection of each unit.
Service animals are permitted year round in Palmetto Dunes with proper notification and appropriate documentation. We do have limited villas and homes that are pet friendly between October 1st and March 31st for an additional fee. Our pet policy only allows 1 dog with a maximum weight of 40 pounds and other restrictions may apply. The pet fee is $200 which is non-refundable. No pets are permitted in any of the vacation rentals between April 1 through September 30.
Limited Parking Passes are available for each unit or home. Should you need additional parking passes, please call the front desk at (888) 909-9566. Additional cost may apply if someone is visiting and it is only for a day or 2, then it is free. If they are visiting for the whole stay they must purchase another pass for $18.
Check-in is at the Welcome Center located at 4 Queens Folly Road, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina 29928. The check-in process does not begin until 4:00 p.m. and check-in times are not guaranteed.
If you will be checking in after business hours, your check-in packet will be available just outside the Welcome Center. You will see a sign that says "After Hours Check-In Area.” A cell phone number and email address will be needed by all guests checking in to the resort. A locker will be assigned to each guest arriving after hours. A pass code will be given to access the locker. The locker will contain keys/key code for the unit, directions, and applicable gate passes. For guests that know ahead of time that they will be arriving late, please email firstname.lastname@example.org Guest will need to formally check-in with the Front Desk the following day.
