Eric Wammock, USPTA Elite Professional, has been in the tennis industry for 33 years. As a player, Wammock was a college All-American at Florida State College and later All-Conference at Virginia Commonwealth University, winning the conference doubles title over the 11th ranked team in the country. Eric played professionally in 1990-1991 before moving to Sea Pines. The former USPTA SC Pro of the Year has played tournaments, exhibitions and practiced with many top players including Stan Smith, Bjorn Borg, Monica Seles, Conchita Martinez, Johan Kriek and Mikael Pernfors. Eric is also a specialist in on-court video analysis and leads our top programs.
A nationally ranked tennis player, Ansboury discovered Pickleball in
2014 and was instantly hooked. She entered her first national Pickleball
tournaments in 2015 and earned Gold and Silver at the September 2015
Tournament of Champions. In November, she medaled four times at the
USAPA National Tournament including winning Gold in the Women’s Doubles
Open with her friend and partner, Gigi LeMaster.
Ansboury has been traveling the country working with recreational and
advanced players to improve their all around game technically, mentally,

Jamie attended Northern Colorado where she played tennis and basketball and was awarded the Kodak All American for basketball. She has developed and coached physical education programs in the schools and athletic programs. She's worked as the head golf instructor at the Glendale Golf Course for the past 15 years. For the last 4 years she's taught pickleball for a number of programs in the Maryland area. She's placed in numerous pickleball tournaments and most notably in the US Open last year with Sarah Mitten.
Formerly from Long Island, N.Y., Hank Iannuzzi did his undergraduate work at the University of Pittsburgh, then entered the Georgetown Dental University graduate school. He has been in the top 5 in South Carolina in both singles and doubles competition for the past twelve years. Hank has been teaching at the Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center for twelve years.
Keith Whitlow is a PTR-certified teaching professional who attended Furman University. He was formerly ranked #1 in the Southern region in both singles and doubles, and is currently ranked #1 in singles in South Carolina. Keith has 23 years of tennis teaching experience in Georgia and South Carolina. He has been teaching at the Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center for seven years.
A former WTA coach for all four Grand Slams, Tapi Hayrinen is has teaching and playing experience in Europe, North and South America, Asia, Africa and Australia. Tapi's teaching certifications include PTR professional, USPTA P-1, OTV Austria, STL Finland, Wheelchair Tennis Teacher, Cardio Tennis Teacher and Nordic Walking teacher. He attended Wake Forest University, where he played on the tennis team, before earning a degree in Business Administration. He has been teaching at the Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center for eight years.
Sarah is a native of Devon, England. She came to the U.S. in 1987 on a tennis scholarship to MSU. She comes from a Hall of Fame background with her grandfather playing for Manchester United and her father also playing professional football. A Wimbledon qualifier and All SEC Scholar-Athlete, she had a long and successful career as a tennis professional. Before coming to Palmetto Dunes she was the former Tennis Pro-Director at the Olympic Tennis Center in Stone Mountain, GA, The Homestead in VA, Dorado Beach and Cerromar, PR. Sarah is also one of the founding instructors of the Palmetto Dunes Tennis & Pickleball Center where she is lead instructor of the pickleball intermediate and advanced programs, and a 4.5 level tournament player in her spare time.
Ike Kiro has joined the award winning Palmetto Dunes tennis professional staff, teaching students of all ages and abilities, but is also the leader of our redesigned morning junior development program. Ike holds a rating of Professional from the Professional Tennis Registry, helped run the World Class junior development program at Van Der Meer and most recently coached at the University of Detroit, where he also earned his M.B.A. Ike is a 5.5 NTRP level player who excelled in college at NJIT and later at the University of the District of Columbia, where he was First team All-Conference. Kiro is originally from Cape Town, South Africa and speaks 3 languages.
